About Me

I'm an agented author of upmarket literary fiction. I'm also a tech worker (this doesn't change or soften my views on AI, by the way. I am as strongly against it as any other writer).

I'm the daughter of missionaries and even though I was born in the United States, I lived in other countries as a child and had to essentially "re-emigrate" as a child. Relearn English, exist in the same in-between place as any other immigrant, all while knowing I was American and had privileges they didn't. This experience gave me a lifelong interest in migration, language, and belonging, which I explore in all of my work.
